Situations is an open ended and ongoing series of photographs broken into collections.  Edited from a collection of images amassed over a large period of time, these photographs are not from a specific place nor made with any specific topic in mind.  These photographs are made in the tradition of the flâneur, but of course one who drives most places these days. In part this a response to approaches encouraged in art schools of superficially imposed parameters such as tidy, idea driven projects, these images are simple visual responses to experiences of the real world mediated through a camera lens.  Collect, select, and sequence.  Any underlying meanings or feelings of the collections are created primarily through the editing process.
